2008 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) – Who, What & Where
The first ever MTV Africa Music Awards were held on Saturday November 22nd at the Velodrome in Abuja, Nigeria with music artists like Kelly Rowland, D’Banj, 9ice, Ikechukwu, Wahu, Naeto C, Caroline Chikezie, P-Square, The Game, Flo Rida, and many more in attendance.
Wasn’t this awards ceremony long overdue? Regardless the wait is finally over and African music is finally getting recognized on a wider scale. Winners were selected via text messages from the public. Isn’t that cool?
