The 2010 FIFA World Cup Theme Song: Everywhere You Go Featuring 2Face Idibia & Kelly Rowland Debuts

Our good friends over at That Grape Juice just reported on the new theme song for the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup named “Everywhere You Go” featuring popular African artists 2Face, Awadi, Chameleone, Crotale, Jozi, Kwesta, Rola, Samini, Slikour, Zuluboy and former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland.

I think this song is just what the football event needs – bass and sass! I have this song on repeat.

In the past Kelly collaborated with another bold name Nigerian artist D’Banj at the 2008 MAMA’s so I think it’s faboulous that she’s working with 2Face. The “African Queen” singer (that is 2Face so you and I are both clear) also teamed up with R. Kelly in the past. That’s definitely worthwhile and promising as R. Kelly gave countless artists his magic touch like the late King of Pop Micheal Jackson’s monster hit, You Are Not Alone.

According to various online reports “Everywhere You Go” would film its music video at the end of April. In the meantime check out this interview Kelly did in support of the new track.
