Liya Kebede, Iman, & Naomi Campbell Covers Essence September 2010 Cover Issue
The September issue of any major publicaiton (namely women’s interest and fashion) is by far the most important and most read out of the year. ESSENCE (popular urban women’s interest & fashion publication) with the release of their September 2010 issue celebrates their 40th Anniversary! Essence was first published in May 1970 and four decades later continues to strive to be the leading publication for black women! On its cover is three influential models – LIYA KEBEDE, IMAN, and NAOMI CAMPBELL.

The accompanying Essence September 2010 headline goes as follows: 40 Fierce & Fabulous: Womenwho are changing the world. Covergirl Mrs. David Bowie has a blog with ESSENCE.COM - Jetting Setting With Iman. To highlight Essence’s historical moment, Iman visited the New York Stock Exchange.
