Idris Elba Promoting Takers + Michelle & Sasha Obama Meets Spain Royals
Idris Elba has been busy promoting his latest film project Takers from the Hollywood premiere to the latest cover of Ebony magazine. Next up for Idris is a guest appearance on the Showtime series, The Big C, co-starring Gabby Sidibe. Idris has gone on record to say that he has a mixtape featuring his Takers co-stars T.I. and Chris Brown and other noteworthy musicians coming out the same day as the film’s official premiere – August 27th. Idris Elba on his Takers mixtape: “I’m gonna get superstar records on there, some exclusives. But I’m also trying to get some people that follow me on Twitter, people that have been following and supporting ‘Takers’ to submit a couple records on the mixtape … I’ll throw a couple of my own songs on the jam, too … so be careful.” Hmmm…this should be interesting!

This past Sunday First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughter Sasha met Spain Royals (King Juan Carlos of Spain, Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Letizia of Spain) at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Much was said about Michelle’s one-shoulder look and Michelle continued to dish it out to her critics. Fashion blog MRS-O.ORG reports that Michelle wore a peach full skirt by Moschino while Sasha wore designs by J Crew. I love how Michelle dresses to suit her tastes than appease the masses. Do you, Michelle!
