I love how she took Rihanna’s breakthrough hit and made it her own. Rihanna even cosigned Naima’s take on her song on Twitter: “Vote for Naima! Rah Rah!” Naima tweeted back with “Give thanks for the support sis!!! Blessed love.”

Go Girl! First Naima’s getting recogntion from her peers and now she’s making red carpet appearances! The sky’s the limit!

For the fashionistas: According to the show’s costume designer Soyon An, Naima wore a Lauren Stucky leather top with an African textile print,  a Johnny Cota glove, Jagger Edge necklace, and Joseph Brooks bracelets.and Blessed and Cursed jeans.
