Many of Nigerian’s most popular musicans such as hip-hop artist Wale, soul songbird Sade, and the legendary Fela Kuti are of Yoruba descent. Yoruba music is combination of West African music, Afro-Latin and Caribbean musical styles.  Yoruba music also influences Cuban music via its drum traditions.  Feels Good 2B Home presents the very best of Yoruba musicians!

Frontwoman singer of the band SADE, Folasade Helen Adu is of British-Nigerian descent. She was born in Ikere, Ekiti State, Nigeria to Bisi Adu (Nigerian lecturer/father) and Anne Hayes (English nurse/mother).
