Model Madness Featuring David Agbodji & Fatima Siad

June 13, 2010

Somalian model/former ANTM alum Fatima Siad appeared in a photospread for the July 2010 issue of Marie Claire magazine. (For those interested in picking up a copy from their local newsstand it’s the one with country star Taylor Swift on the cover!) I love Fatima’s new hairstyle – very Diana Ross-esque. Shot by James Macari and styled by Joseph Carle, Fatima donned ready-to-wear pieces from Celine, Giambattista Valli, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. Fatima also has had two successful modeling gigs with MALANDRINO and BCBGMAXAZRIA who revealed the portraits on Twitter awhile ago.

Calvin Klein unveiled their latest David Agbodji print AD campaign. This new print AD campaign was shot by famed photographer Steven Klein for the brand’s Fall 2010 collection. (As previously reported David got his fashion breakthrough with Calvin and has been the brand’s print AD campaign since Spring/Summer 2010! He’s also the face of Sean John. Go ahead and make that paper, David!) Check it out…

VMAN also had David pose for their “Male Model World Cup” photo editorial in celebration of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

David doesn’t take a bad photo at all! Go ahead, David! Maybe David would make a good cameo spot for this year’s Naija 50th Independence Day festivities? A girl can only dream….
