Iman Sports Black & Sequins to amFAR New York Gala
Iman (in a Oscar De La Renta Spring 2011 low-cut black sequin dress) attended the 2011 amFAR New York Gala last night. As always Iman made the look her own.
The event recognized former President Bill Clinton, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, and Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor for their charitable contributions to AIDS research, amFAR’s sole mission. According to her tweets the event had a historical music finale thanks to a live performance of That’s What Friends Are For by Elton John, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder heck out a handful of her from the event. That’s What Friends Are For recorded 25 years ago also served as the song anthem in the fight against AIDS.
